Justine Tutuska has been an active Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) since 2008, and the President of the Board of Directors of Infant Massage USA, the US Chapter of the International Association of Infant Massage- Sweden (IAIM). She is a Trainer with the International Association of Infant Massage-Sweden. Justine has additional certification in pregnancy massage (Mother Massage®, Elaine Stillerman) and a diploma from the Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy® and regularly teaches community and professional based aromatherapy education workshops.
Justine holds a Master of Public Health MPH degree in Health Promotion from San Diego State University and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of New York. She is the Dept Chair and Assistant Professor of the Health Promotion Dept at Daemen College in Buffalo NY. Her professional focus is on community level approaches to health promotion with a particular interest in maternal child health and global initiatives. Justine has created and led international service learning projects for over 12 years, allowing students to explore and reflect upon global citizenship opportunities in Tanzania, Kenya, the Dominican Republic and Uganda. Her teaching emphasizes the importance of holistic approaches, community involvement, civic responsibility and cultural competence. |
